Well after a 23 hour trip to Lake Tahoe - No thanks to American Airlines (they did their best to mess up our trip!) we finally hit the slopes!  We were exhausted but the weather was great and could not wait to ski!  This was the best day that we ended up with.  Tuesday, it was snowing and blowing but we toughed it out.  Wednesday was terrible,  there was snow along with 80 mph gusts at the top of the mountain.  The flight home was very uneventful and we were greatful for that.  Back to the grindstone on Monday.  It was a great trip but I am happy to be home.

Jeff - maybe next year Dan will let us pan for gold!

Today started with a 7:30 flight from Detroit to Dallas - and we have been stuck here ever since! Three planes later we are finally taking off. Hope the snow is great in Tahoe!

Had a great weekend up north with family.  Tracey and I headed up to Traverse City with her Sister Cheryl and Husband Craig.  Craig and I got to enjoy some skiing on Saturday while Tracey and Cheryl gave tubing a try. It was nice and sunny (COLD but sunny).  It was also Boyne's 4F weekend party at the Zoo Bar.  There were some very interesting costumes floating around after skiing.

Sunday we all took it easy until game time.  We all headed out to watch the Superbowl at a local establishment.  We got off to a rocky start, the Staff couldn't find the game on any one of the hundreds of Direct TV Channels.  They finally found it on most of the TV's (don't ask).  The evening would have been perfect if the Colts would have won.  Congratulations Saints, you deserve it (I still don't think the Lions will ever do it).

Well I just downloaded and installed a new application for my iPhone. This post is being created from the phone. This new application will hopefully allow me to update this site a little more often and keep better tabs on all of it's traffic. Have a great week!
